Do you have a beautiful tea cup set at home that you hardly use? Do you feel it’s a shame you don’t use it but still don’t like to be careful while drinking coffee? Why don’t you turn your beautiful teacup into candle? I did and let me tell you I quite like the result. If I wouldn’t been so clumsy it would look even better.
So you will need:
A teacup set
Tea candles (the number depends on size of your cup; you can use normal wax)
Matches or lighter
Big thick candle
Light up the big candle. Pick up the little candle by tweezers and hold it over a flame. Watch out you doesn’t hold it too closely – you will put out the flame.
You can buy the candle rope or simply take apart one of the tea candles and take that one. If you decide for the rope you will need a pencil to hold it over until the wax dries. If you choose to take apart the smaller candle your candle in a cup will be very low because it’s not very long rope.
Be careful while pouring the wax it can get spilled easily and can be a nightmare when you want to clean it up. When the wax is safe in the cup let it dry. Make sure the place where you work has an open window if you are working with scented candles. The smell could give you the headache.
When it is dry light it up and enjoy your new candle!
